WELCOME

We are a group of railway modellers with a common interest in narrow gauge railways.

First founded in December 2003, as the Northampton & District Narrow Gauge Modellers, the group took its new name in 2020, reflecting the move of our regular meetings to the Rugby area.

We welcome members from Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.

We meet monthly throughout the year, mostly at our Rugby base, with occasional visits to working narrow gauge railways and other events.

At our meetings members can work on the group layouts, bring a project of their own, or simply chew the fat with like-minded people.

Members work in a range of scale/gauge combinations from 009 to SM32.

We have a number of group layouts including two small 009 layouts and an 0-16.5 (NG7) layout.

A number of members are developing 0-16.5 modules which can be joined to form a large layout.

The group holds an annual Exhibition which is a public event with an opportunity for members to share their layouts with a wider audience.

Guests and potential new members are always welcome at our meetings.
